Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission Requests Observations on CID’s Investigation into Grade 5 Exam Leak

The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka has called on complainants to submit their observations regarding the Criminal Investigation Department’s (CID) investigation into the leak of questions from the 2024 Grade 5 scholarship examination.

The commission has granted the complainants two weeks to provide these observations. During a session held on the 30th, the commission conducted an in-depth review of the CID’s findings.

The complainants have alleged that the leak involved more questions than the three mentioned in the report. After reviewing the complainants’ feedback, the Human Rights Commission is expected to issue recommendations related to the 2024 Grade 5 scholarship examination.
