Sri Lanka has opted to maintain a predominantly unchanged T20 squad that secured victory against Afghanistan in their recent three-match T20I series, with Jfferey Vandersay and Avishka Fernando being the sole additions.
Avishka Fernando replaces the injured Pathum Nissanka, who is still on the path to recovery. Meanwhile, Jfferey Vandersay joins the squad as a cover for Wanindu Hasaranga, who is set to miss the first two T20Is due to suspension. During Hasaranga’s absence, Vice Captain Charith Asalanka will lead the team for the opening two T20Is.
