SriLankan Airlines has officially declared the incorporation of a new Airbus A330-200 into its fleet, facilitated by a wet lease agreement with Air Belgium.
The newly acquired aircraft, featuring a configuration of 22 Business Class and 240 Economy Class seats, is set to commence operations on crucial routes to Europe and Asia starting December 29th, 2023.
This strategic move to introduce the leased A330-200 aims to enhance SriLankan Airlines’ overall capacity and network connectivity. The focus is particularly on strengthening services on popular routes such as Frankfurt, Dhaka, and Dubai.
