The Police Special Task Force (STF) recovered a stock of 40 kilograms of heroin, valued at approximately Rs. 1 billion, during a recent raid in the Sevanagala area.
According to police, the operation was launched following a tip-off from Sri Lanka Army intelligence. Authorities are continuing further investigations into the drug cache.
