This afternoon (2nd), Immigration Controller General Harsha Ilukpitiya announced that the issuance of ‘Online Visas’ has been temporarily suspended following an interim order by the Supreme Court. In a statement published on the ‘Lankadeepa’ website, Ilukpitiya emphasized the need to respect and comply with the court’s decision, acknowledging that the suspension has created a situation where online visas cannot be issued at this time.
