- SSP I.S. Muthumala has been appointed as the new Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), succeeding SSP M.M. Dehideniya, who now takes charge of the Nugegoda Division as Officer in Charge (OIC).
- DIG H.D.K.S. Perera is the new Director of the Terrorism Investigation Division.
- SSP I.U.K. Lokuhettige will lead the Colombo Crimes Division.
- SSP K.B. Manathunga has been named Director of the Police Media Division and Police Spokesperson.
