The University Grants Commission (UGC) announced that 87,000 students have applied for university admission online this year.
UGC Vice Chairman, Prof. Chandana Udawatta, stated that the deadline for students to change their preferred university is midnight on Friday, the 19th.
He added that the cut-off marks for undergraduate degrees will be announced before the end of August.
Prof. Udawatta also mentioned that exams postponed due to the 74-day university non-academic staff strike will be conducted in the coming weeks.
