The USS Okane, an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer measuring 154 meters in length and staffed by a crew of 328, has arrived at the port of Colombo for a replenishment visit. Commanded by Commander Richard Ray, the ship is scheduled to depart on August 22 after completing its replenishment.
Earlier this week, the USS Spruance, another Arleigh Burke-class destroyer, docked at Colombo for a similar visit. The USS Spruance, which is 160 meters long and has a crew of 338, was commanded by Commander Thomas Adams. After completing its replenishments, the USS Spruance departed the island on August 20.
