Weather Forecast: Showers and Strong Winds Expected

Fairly heavy showers, approximately 75mm, are likely in some areas of the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, along with the districts of Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, and Puttalam.

Several spells of light showers are anticipated in the Northern province and in the districts of Matale and Anuradhapura.

Strong winds, ranging from 40-50 kmph, are expected at times over the western slopes of the central hills, Northern, North-Central, and North-Western provinces, as well as in the districts of Trincomalee, Hambantota, and Monaragala.
