According to the press service of the Belarusian leader, President Aleksandr Lukashenko has conveyed his greetings to President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe, congratulating him on his 75th birthday.
In his message, President Lukashenko lauded Sri Lanka’s commitment to economic reforms aimed at enhancing the population’s quality of life, citing it as a commendable example. He assured President Wickremesinghe of Belarus’s unwavering support in this endeavor.
Expressing confidence in the untapped potential of bilateral cooperation, President Lukashenko emphasized his belief in elevating Belarusian-Sri Lankan relations to new heights. He underscored Belarus’s proficiency in sectors such as mechanical engineering, metal and wood processing, electric power, petrochemistry, and pharmaceuticals, expressing readiness to assist Sri Lanka in bolstering food security and providing agricultural machinery along with sharing relevant technologies.
