Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) Introduces New Payment Methods for Consumers

In a recent statement, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) announced its efforts to enhance consumer convenience by introducing several new methods for paying electricity bills.

The CEB has introduced the CEB Care app, facilitating bill payments through online banking services, Sri Lanka Postal Department, the official CEB website (ceb.lk), bank KIOSK machines, supermarkets, and mCash.

Consumers are encouraged to utilize these diverse payment channels for added convenience in settling their electricity bills. In the event of any issues or concerns related to bill payments, the CEB has established a dedicated helpline, reachable at telephone number 1987, to address and resolve consumer complaints promptly. The introduction of these new payment options reflects the CEB’s commitment to providing accessible and efficient services to its consumers.
