Deadly Day for Israeli Forces as 21 Soldiers Killed in Gaza Invasion

On Monday, the Israeli army reported the loss of 21 soldiers, marking the deadliest day for Israel since the initiation of its invasion of Gaza immediately after the Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023, as per foreign media reports.

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the toll on the Palestinian side has been devastating, with 25,295 people killed and 63,000 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. Israel, on the other hand, reports a total of 1,139 casualties within its borders on the same day.

In a separate development, the US and UK jointly targeted eight Houthi sites in Yemen on Monday night. This marks the eighth day of attacks since January 11, in response to Houthi assaults on shipping in the Red Sea. Notably, this is only the second instance of British forces participating in the strikes.
