New Zealand’s Foreign Minister Winston Peters has appointed David Pine as the new High Commissioner to Sri Lanka.
David Pine currently holds the position of New Zealand’s High Commissioner to India and Bangladesh, and he is designated as the Ambassador to Nepal.
Having served as the High Commissioner in New Delhi since July 2020, David Pine will now relocate to Colombo to assume his role as the High Commissioner to Sri Lanka.
Previously, Pine served as New Zealand’s High Commissioner to Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam from March 2011 until December 2014, when he took a break from the foreign service.
